Stability Ball Exercise: Chest Strengthening

Watch this workout video to learn a new core-toning move

By Staff Posted August 28, 2009 from

Are you tired of doing the same old exercise routines? If you've been doing the same cunches and sit-ups for years now, chances are they are beginning to feel monotonous and boring, and probably not as effective as they once were since our bodies adapt—resulting in the dreaded weight-loss plateau. To spice up your daily or weekly toning routines, try your moves on an exercise ball. Working out on a balance or stability ball is not only fun and exciting to do, but also burns more calories and builds more muscle. If you’re new to this type of workout apparatus, WD is here to help! Our new workout video series will provide you with a different toning move that utilizes the stability ball every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For the past two weeks we have featured a variety of exercises working each part of your body from glute lifts to ab tucks. Today's video works your core muscles and more specifically your chest. Watch expert Sue Conrad demonstrate this strengthening move.
