A Vintage Lunchbox Collage

Reminisce with these classic lunch containers

By Brynn Mannino Posted August 31, 2009 from

When we were kids, the tin lunchbox spoke volumes about our developing personality; it put our young taste in both art and entertainment on display for all the world to see. Our lunchbox also added a certain level of excitement to our day as we discovered what goodies mom packed for lunch. We at are not the only ones nostalgic for these memory keepers of our past. Sites like and make it their business to collect and sell said souvenirs of our youth—and have generously offered up photos of their products so that we could share them with you via the very cool collage below. From a Yogi Bear pail and thermos to the cute candy-themed Dots carrier, we can’t help but think that they—some priced near $500!—are worth every penny.
